Calling All Artists!

Show your creativity and talent. Be the winning artist and have your artwork published on the cover of this year’s yearbook!

Students are again invited to submit their drawings for this year’s Yearbook Cover
Contest.

Guidelines for this year’s cover:
• Use 8.5” x 11” sheet of plain paper (no binder holes or lines, please).
• Use the paper vertically.
• Design must include the school name and school year: Bethany Lutheran School 2017-
2018
• Any art medium may be used - crayons, paint, pastels, markers, color pencils, etc. (Use
materials that create texture and give added dimensions to the design).
• Create a design using this year’s theme of “F-O-C-U-S-E-D - “Fixed On Christ’s Unlimited
Supply Everyday”
• Your design must be in color. Avoid leaving the background blank or white to create a
more visually appealing cover.
• Keep what’s important in the design (e.g. school name) away from the paper edges to
avoid the artwork being cut in the trim process.
• Make sure that student’s full name and grade are written in “pencil” on the back of their
drawing.
