In September the Youth Group re-visited the National Youth Gathering and Psalm 46. It was a great service and we were very excited to bring the flavor and our experiences of the youth gathering to the Bethany Congregation. We sang some songs from the youth gathering. We showed some videos from the gathering. We showed the congregation what we did as a servant event. We did a skit on the importance of a Real. Present. God. Even the Bethany Puppets were a part of the service. The puppet stage looked awesome and looked like the stage from the youth gathering. We hoped everyone enjoyed the youth service and we are hoping that maybe there were elements that we can use in future services.
The youth want to thank everyone in the congregation for helping us attend the youth gathering. Without your support, we could have never attended. We also want to thank the Praise Team for singing the songs, Jim Witt for videotaping the service for us; we can’t wait to see it! Thank You to Pastor Russ and the elders for letting us do the service. Thank You also goes out to our great group of adult volunteers Hew Hesterman, Janine Bowne and Kevin Shaw. With September over we are going to have fun at our next youth event and look to our annual Christmas Wreath fundraiser. Finally, don’t forget that in 2022 is the next youth gathering in Houston Texas….
